About Texas Women’s Music Alliance
Our History and Mission Statement
The Texas Women's Music Alliance (TWMA) is a non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting and promoting women in music in Texas. TWMA was founded in 2023 by vocalist Brooke Alyson. Bringing together the talented and accomplished female musicians, performers, and artists of the Lone Star State, while offering valuable resources, fostering a unified and supportive community. Empowering and connecting women in the music industry, addressing the gender imbalance and promoting gender equality. Providing resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy to help Texas Women Artists succeed.
TWMA will be offering various programs and events in the near future , including:
1. Concerts and showcases featuring female artists
2. Workshops and panels on music industry topics
3. Mentorship programs
4. Scholarships and grants
5. Networking events and conferences

Membership builds the foundation that allows this work to grow.
There are two ways to join:

Texas Women’s Music Alliance is a Texas nonprofit corporation. Federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is currently pending. At this time, membership contributions are not yet tax-deductible. Once federal approval is granted, future eligible contributions will be treated in accordance with IRS guidelines.
